Again I Stride!
That's right! I'm back and ready to rock and roll in the 2018 challenge! This is all for the kids-- to support the mission and programs of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. I personally know a girl who was diagnosed with leukemia. She managed to fight it off, with the help of her family, and kept it together with the help of the Camp. She is still struggling with the disease and we wish the best for her. Let's get together and show our support for her and others like her who are shouldering a burden they shouldn't have to-- contribute to help send a child to camp, and help spread the word-- share this with family and friends. Like my posts on Facebook! Get involved!
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to more than 20,000 seriously ill children and family members annually - all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in more than 40 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast.
Each year, my friends and family have contributed more and more to this great cause. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and family members.
