Lori Vengrow Push for the Kids with help from Catch A Lift Veterans
Thank you for visiting our LORI VENGROW PUSH FOR THE KIDS WITH HELP FROM THE CATCH A LIFT VETERANS page! We are participating in the 2018 Push Against Cancer to benefit the brave and beautiful campers and their families at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. Come join the team or donate or just come support. For one hour we will do as many pushups as we can and inflict as much pain as possible on us, for the good of the kids! 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of my sister and best friend, Lori Vengrow, who was taken from us on 2/3/98. She was a hard charging, never stopping superstar in life and made so many lives better for her having been in them. Another teammate, Brett Katzner, lost his sister 32 years ago at just 14 yrs old. Tara Michelle Katzner would be 47 this October. There is no better way to remember and honor those we have lost, than to pay it forward and help others going through similar terrible situations. We must kick cancer's behind, and empower those that are going through a current battle.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and their families through a variety of year-round programs. The Camp delivers fun, friendship and a healthy dose of mischief through its signature summer program and weekend sessions at the Camp facility in Ashford, CT as well as outreach to hospitals, clinics and communities across the Northeast. All services are free of charge.
Please help us reach (or even exceed!) our goal. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide "a different kind of healing" to children and families coping with serious illness.
