This is Maddie at camp, having the time of her life, cheering with her new friends. Not a care in the world for a week. She was able to forget she was sick, able to laugh, scream, shout, and enjoy! The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp not only made that week of her life precious, but the camp has provided a place of healing and growth for her brothers every summer since, as sibling campers. This amazing camp provides happiness, love, care and compassion to sick children and their siblings. Maddie passed away after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer. She was 10 years old. As her mother writing this, I can assure you personally, that this camp is priceless. Please consider making a donation to this incredible, one of a kind camp. Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and their families through a variety of year-round programs.  The Camp delivers fun, friendship and a healthy dose of mischief through its signature summer program and weekend sessions at the Camp facility in Ashford, CT as well as outreach to hospitals, clinics and communities across the Northeast. All services are free of charge.
