Coast to Coast for a Cause

We are a group of UConn medical students and this summer, we will bike over 3,500 miles from Seattle, WA to Madison, CT for the 11th annual UConn Coast to Coast cross country bike ride. We are thrilled to be riding on behalf of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a Connecticut-based organization that serves more than 25,000 seriously ill children and family members annually!

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and their families through a variety of year-round programs. The Camp delivers fun, friendship and transformative experiences to children and families through its signature summer program and weekend sessions at the facility in Ashford, CT. Hole In The Wall also provides outreach to hospitals, clinics and communities across the Northeast. All services are free of charge to children and their families.

Our goal is to raise as much money and awareness as possible, such that our efforts will ultimately help as many children as possible experience the profound effects of Camp. We are incredibly grateful for any support you can give towards our cause. Lastly, all donations will be matched in full thanks to the generosity of the Positive Tracks organization, which "helps youth turn sweat into civic action"!
