Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for visiting my Event page! I'm raising money to help the brave and beautiful campers and their familes at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
We are two students from UConn Schools of Medicine and Dental Medicine and this summer we will be cycling across the country, from the west coast to the east coast. For the last 16 years, students from our programs have organized a Coast to Coast for a Cause cycling journey. Our trip will mark the 17th year of Coast to Coast for a Cause, keeping the UConn Health tradition alive! We are incredibly excited to plan our journey and raise money for The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp!
I'm a first-year medical student at UConn. I'm from Long Island, NY and I graduated last year from UConn Storrs. I was actually supposed to work as a counselor at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp last summer but unfortunately due to Covid camp was cancelled. That said, I'm super excited to support this camp in a different way this year! I don't have much experience biking or camping (yet), but I love to travel and go outside so I'm super excited for this trip! Outside of school, I enjoy roller blading, playing frisbee, hiking, reading, taking pictures, finding new music, and spending time with my cats and friends and family.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a community dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families through a variety of year-round programs. The Camp delivers fun, friendship and a healthy dose of mischief through its signature summer program and weekend sessions at the Camp facility in Ashford, Conn. as well as outreach to hospitals, clinics and communities across the Northeast. All services are free of charge.
Please help me reach (or even exceed!) my goal. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide "a different kind of healing" to children and families coping with serious illness.
