Welcome to my fundraising page! I'm running Ragnar Relay Cape Cod and fundraising to support the mission and programs of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. As most of you know, I love camp!! As a Recreation Supervisor, I plan and organize summer camp programs. I can also personally attest to the tremendous benefits a summer camp experience can provide. I attended both day and overnight camp as a child and now as a parent, my children have gotten to have similar experiences. The friendships, lessons and leadership they gained during summer camp has helped to shape who they are today.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to more than 20,000 seriously ill children and family members annually - all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in more than 40 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast.
I am thankful to be friends with a family who's child has attended this amazing program. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide "a different kind of healing" to this family and to other seriously ill children and family members.
