Welcome to My Personal Page
Welcome to my fundraising page! I'm running Ragnar Relay Cape Cod and fundraising to support the mission and programs of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
Hi everybody!!! I want to thank you so much for taking the time to come to my page and read a little about how much camp means to me and how important fundraisers like this are. I started at camp as a student nurse. I knew of camp and many people had told me I should come volunteer, but somehow things always came up. Finally, as a student nurse, I walked into camp summer of 2016... and have been back every year since. That’s because camp is MAGIC. There is no explaining, you just have to experience it. You have to feel for yourself the joy of watching every serious ill child that walks through the gates have the best week of their lives (campers own quotes of course). But I know not everyone has the privilege that I do to be able to experience camp. However, you can have the privilege to keep camp running! It is 100% free for each child because of donations. Any amount helps! I thank you in advance for being a part of this with me. PLUS, I’m not a runner...so every dollar will push me further to finishing this thing strong! ;) Below is a little bit more about camp!
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to more than 20,000 seriously ill children and family members annually - all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in more than 40 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast.
Please help me reach (or even exceed!) my goal. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and family members.
