Welcome to my fundraising page! I'm running the TCS New York City Marathon and fundraising to support the mission and programs of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to more than 20,000 seriously ill children and family members annually - all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in more than 40 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast.
After my twin brother's diagnosis with Osteosarcoma, my siblings and I attended camp many times and participated in its various life-changing programs. Over these past two summers I have been able to return to camp as a Leader in Training, and to say that I have experienced magic happen before my eyes would be a total understatement. I have seen everything from children making lifelong friends with others who have the same illnesses, to one of my campers, who happened to be blind, climbing the rock wall tower faster than I think I could have myself.
Please help me reach (or even exceed!) my goal. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and family members.
