A rainy, chilly walk day didn't dampen our spirits!
I am so happy to participating in Camp Challenge 2022 and fundraising to support the mission and programs of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
As we entered our 4th year of planning for our annual CAMPQUEST Walk to benefit Camp, the pandemic made our important event nearly impossible to plan with so many unknowns. Even sadder is that the need for Camp's programs did not change. There were still children facing life threatening illnesses and families that needed a way to connect.
So we have been very anxious to get back in gear and we are starting by bringing the CAMPQUEST Team to the Camp's Ashford, CT facility for Camp Challenge 2022!!
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to more than 20,000 seriously ill children and family members annually - all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, CT, in more than 40 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic.
Please help me reach (or even exceed!) my goal. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and family members.
