Welcome to the Greist Families page
Thank you for visiting our families page, as a family we hope you can all join us for a day of fun. This day was put together by Edwards and Hailey so other kids can expierence a little bit of what they feel like when they go to Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. Edwards and Haileys immune systems do not work, so therefore they do not fight off germs like other kids. Eddie and Hailey can not enjoy other activities like their friends, but at Hole in the wall anything is possible.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a community dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families through a variety of year-round programs. The Camp delivers fun, friendship and a healthy dose of mischief through its signature summer program and weekend sessions at the Camp facility in Ashford, Conn. as well as outreach to hospitals, clinics and communities across the Northeast. All services are free of charge.
Hole in the Wall has saved our families lives and has given us a place to escape. It has given us as parents a place to realize we are not alone and to our kids a place for them to meet kids who are "just like them". Please join us and help us raise money for our second home that makes our whole family feel grounded and safe. If you can't join us please consider making a donation in honor of our children Edwards and Hailey.
We would like to thank Joey C's Boathouse and the Sports Center of CT for their support of our family throughout the year and this fundraiser.
