Jim Lehnhoff's NYC Marathon Fundraising Page
In November I'll be running the New York City Marathon and fundraising during the months prior to support the mission and programs of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. This will be the second time I've helped to raise money for this truly incredible organization. I first learned about Hole in the Wall back in 2013 while researching organizations that were participating in the NYC Half Marathon and was honored to be able to fundraise for them that year. I was also lucky enough to be able to visit camp after the race, and walking the grounds and getting to see first-hand how much joy this special place is bringing to the lives of seriously ill children was an incredibly powerful experience.
Founded in 1988 by fellow Kenyon grad Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to more than 20,000 seriously ill children and family members annually, all completely free of charge. Hole in the Wall provides multiple camp experiences throughout the year at their facility in Ashford, Connecticut, in more than 40 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast.
Please help me to exceed my goal. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and their families.
