Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for visiting my Event page! I'm raising money to help the brave and beautiful campers and their familes at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
My name is Gerard Kerins and I am a first year Medical student at the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine. Originally from Madison, CT along the shoreline, I graduated from Xavier High School in Middletown, CT prior to receiving my undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross in 2014. It was during my time in high school that I developed an interest in medicine and service, interests that continued to grow during my time in college. This year, I am excited to be a part of the Coast to Coast for a Cause team that has pledged to bike across the country in an effort to raise money and awareness for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. I’m proud to be able to do my part in supporting the Camp and the inspiring work that they do year round in providing “a different kind of healing” for seriously ill children and their families. Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Camp delivers fun, friendship and a healthy dose of mischief through its signature summer program and weekend sessions at the Camp facility in Ashford, Conn. as well as outreach to hospitals, clinics and communities across the Northeast. All services are free of charge.
Please help me reach (or even exceed!) my goal. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide "a different kind of healing" to children and families coping with serious illness.
