Coast2Coast for a Cause 2022

We are three students from UConn Schools of Medicine and Dental Medicine and this summer we will be cycling across the country, from the west coast to the east coast. For the last 16 years, students from our programs have organized the Coast to Coast for a Cause cycling journey. Our trip will mark the 17th year of Coast to Coast for a Cause, keeping the UConn Health tradition alive! We are incredibly excited to plan our journey and raise money for The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp!

A little bit more about The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp…

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing "a different kind of healing" to seriously ill children and their families through a variety of year-round programs. It provides a special hideout from their illnesses where they can simply be kids! The Camp delivers fun, friendship, and a healthy dose of mischief through this its signature summer program and weekend sessions at the Camp facility in Ashford, CT, as well as outreach to hospitals, clinics, and communities across the Northeast. Annually the Camp serves over 20,000 children! All services are free of charge!

With that said, donations are a vital part in the operations of such an incredible camp! Please help us reach (or even exceed!) our goal. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to provide "a different kind of healing" to children and families coping with serious illness. Let's give every child, no matter their illness, the chance to "raise a little hell!"
